Corner House, Inc: Outpatient Treament Outpatient treatment is offered in a nonresidential setting. This service is designed to help individuals achieve changes in their substance abuse behaviors.
Treatment addresses an individual’s major lifestyle, attitudinal and behavioral problems that have the potential to undermine the goals of treatment.
Outpatient treatment consists of group, individual, and/or family counseling is generally 3 to 8 hours of scheduled counseling services each week. Groups are held in the evenings on weekdays. Corner House will work with individuals to find a schedule that works for them.
The duration of outpatient treatment is determined by the individual’s illness and his or her response to treatment but generally lasts from 7 to 16 weeks.
