Corner House, Inc: Transitional Program For Veteran Women
The Transitional program for Veteran Women is an 18-24 month residential program in a home environment. This treatment program is directed toward providing a safe, home environment to allow Veteran Women and Veteran Women with children a chance to improve their circumstances and meet their needs.
Women treated in a transitional treatment setting are provided with master degree clinicians specializing in addiction and mental health services, case management to supplement services, partnership with community resources, evidence based treatment curriculum for trauma and empowerment, and twenty-four hour a day support staff.
Transitional treatment provides a safe and sober living environment while the individual participates in 5-11 hours of scheduled, structured activities each week. These activities include individual and group counseling, life skills, recreational groups, self-help support meetings, and vocational or employment counseling.
